We have scheduled an outing at
the Getty Center in LA for
Saturday, October 18. We will
leave Mr. Stox at 9:00 a.m. with
arrival at the Getty at 10:00.
Coffee and Danishes will be
served prior to departure
starting at 8:30
Not only is the Getty an amazing
art gallery, but it also has
beautiful and unusual gardens.
You will have two hours prior to
lunch to explore the exhibits
and gardens. The staff tells me
that there is a new sculpture
garden adjacent to the picnic
lunch area where Mr. Stox staff
will stage a gourmet lunch for
you. We have scheduled two
architectural tours of the
facility at 2:00. We will
depart from the Getty at 4:30.
Wine and cheese will be served
on the bus. If you decide to
stay for dinner, we are offering
a 20% discount.
