We have scheduled
an outing at The Getty Center in
LA for Sunday June 27. We will
leave Mr. Stox at 9:00 a.m. with
arrival at
The Getty at
10:00 a.m. Coffee and Danish
will be served prior to
departure.
Not only is the
Getty an amazing art gallery,
but it also has beautiful and
unusual gardens which will be in
full bloom! The roses are a site
to see. You will have two hours
prior to lunch to explore the
exhibits and gardens. The staff
tells me that there is a new
sculpture garden adjacent to the
picnic lunch area where Mr. Stox
staff will stage a gourmet lunch
for you. We have scheduled two
architectural tours of the
facility. One will be at 11:00
and the second at 2:00. We will
depart from the Getty at 4:30.
Wine and cheese will be served
on the bus. If you decide to
stay for dinner, we are offering
