We continue to be greatly impressed with its beautiful grounds and interesting displays.  It is clearly a world class facility well worth the time to make one’s way to Simi Valley. 

Mr. Stox is offering an opportunity to visit the Museum and Air Force One on two Sundays.  Our luxury Motor Coach will depart from Mr. Stox at 10:00 a.m. sharp.  We’ll have a coffee station with to-go cups in the restaurant and serve you some homemade breakfast pastries starting at 9:30 a.m. 

The visit begins with a docent led tour at 11:30 am.  The tour covers the whole museum and Air Force One.  When the tour concludes, our staff will have gourmet box lunches and beverages ready for your enjoyment on the White House Lawn patio.  After lunch you might want to revisit portions of the Museum or view President Reagan’s grave site.  The museum shop also has many interesting items available.  The Motor Coach will depart for Mr. Stox at 4:15.  As we are not permitted to serve alcoholic beverages at the museum, we will be offering a cheese and wine snack on the return trip.  The cost is $105.00 per person and a 20% discount on dinner is offered to those participating in this wonderful outing.

Don’t miss a last chance to enjoy this wonderful, long running musical.  We have reserved seats in the Orchestra Section for a Sunday 2:00 p.m. matinee.  After gathering at Mr. Stox at 11:45 a.m. you will board a luxury motor coach and enjoy a light lunch on the way to the Pantages theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.  After the show, everyone will return to Mr. Stox for an early dinner.  The cost of $215.00 per person includes transportation, tickets as well as lunch and dinner prepared by Mr. Stox.

Who and What:  SINGLE MALT SCOTCHES and CAO CIGARS

Let’s start the year off right, with an exciting cigar dinner featuring some prestigious CAO cigars and single malt scotches!  The evening begins on the Terrace with delightful hand passed and grilled snacks to enjoy with conversation and CAO cigars. 

CAO offers a full portfolio of cigars, many from tobacco grown in several locations in Nicaragua.  We will sample four of their cigars including the CAO Gold and their famous Brazila. 

After the reception, we will retire to the dining room where Ed Adams of Diageo Brands will lead us through a tasting of three single malt scotches:  Carol Ila-12 year old, Lagalulin malt-16 year old, and Talisker 10 year old.  Diageo Brands also imports the Johnny Walker family of scotches which will be in evidence as well during the evening. 

After a dinner with wines, we will adjourn to the Mendocino Terrace to enjoy a dazzling display of desserts, coffee, and after dinner drinks while we enjoy cigars and conversation until our hearts are content.
